Most inspection apps are phone apps with a Bluetooth bolt-on. xWELDx was designed around smart glasses from the first commit — voice-trigger photo capture, in-frame defect annotation, hands-free voice notes, battery and storage telemetry streamed to the inspection form header.

Today we run native on the Cyan M02S (the glasses Bill is wearing on jobs right now). Tomorrow's SmartGlassesDriver abstraction makes Meta Ray-Ban, RealWear, Vuzix, and XREAL same-shape add-ons as their integration windows open.
